At Donaldson, the Sales Engineer combines technical expertise with a commercial mindset to transform our customers’ needs into opportunities and value-added solutions. As part of our Engine Aftermarket team, you will work closely with customers, distributors, and sales teams to provide technical support and contribute to the development of fuel and hydraulic filtration markets. **Key Responsibilities:** * Support sales development and new business opportunities for Engine Aftermarket. * Collaborate with Territory Managers on customer and distributor visit plans and activities. * Identify opportunities to convert competitor products through technical analysis, equivalency assessments, and performance testing. * Visit distributors and end users to promote our products and provide technical guidance. * Deliver technical training to customers, distributors, sales teams, and maintenance personnel. * Provide application support for products, engines, intake and exhaust systems, hydraulic systems, fluids, and fuels. * Coordinate and follow up on field tests and oil analysis. * Research new applications, equivalencies, and opportunities for Donaldson products. * Support the launch of new products and preparation of technical documentation. * Participate in trade shows, conventions, and other events by providing technical support. * Follow up on technical inquiries and aftermarket and OE warranty claims. **Desired Profile:** * Mechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or related degree. * Preferably 1–3 years of experience in technical, commercial, application, automotive, manufacturing, hydraulic, fluid, engine, or similar fields. * We also welcome high-potential candidates with strong technical foundations, commercial interest, and learning agility. * Familiarity with internal combustion engines, hydraulics, fluids, fuels, lubricants, or mechanics is desirable. * Conversational English is desirable. * Willingness to travel. * Customer orientation, initiative, and ability to identify business opportunities.
