We are seeking a **Development Engineer** for JBA (Juan Bas Alimentos). The primary objective of this role is to analyze the feasibility of developing new products, plan associated tasks, and define formulas and processes enabling prototype development, in accordance with the company’s established policies and procedures. **Main Responsibilities:** * Maintain updated plant activities using a Gantt chart detailing tasks, responsible parties, and deadlines. * Research and develop technological processes involving changes in food composition and physical, chemical, and microbiological characteristics, generating higher-value-added products through environmental protection systems, occupational safety, and health practices. * Record all relevant information regarding material quality parameters and process conditions across production lines during trials to establish definitive process and product quality standards. * Document and implement procedures and formulations for new products, ensuring production line performance. * Manage the creation of codes and materials within the system, tracking them from creation and manufacturing through to first sale. * Receive and interpret market needs to formulate strategies for product development and innovation. **Requirements:** * Education: Graduate in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field. * Experience: 1 or more years of experience in Food Manufacturing and Development. * Experience leading teams in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies (desirable). * Intermediate-level Excel proficiency. * Availability to work onsite in Quilicura. **Join ICB!** **Requirements:** * Education: Graduate in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field. * Experience: 1 or more years of experience in Food Manufacturing and Development. * Experience leading teams in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies (desirable). * Intermediate-level Excel proficiency. * Availability to work onsite in Quilicura.
