Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the Control Tower position to maximize workshop efficiency, monitor work in progress, and assign tasks to mechanics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Generate reports and manage budgets to improve productivity. **Control Tower (1 vacancy)** **Mechanical Engineers \- Mechanics and Machine Repairers** =========================================================================================================== ### **CONTACT INFORMATION** **Company:** Difor Chile S.A **Economic Activity:** Retail sale of new or used motor vehicles (including buying and selling) ### **DESCRIPTION** We are currently seeking a Control Tower professional for our truck workshop branch located in Puerto Montt, responsible for maximizing workshop efficiency, monitoring work in progress, and assigning tasks to mechanics according to requirements, thereby enhancing service quality. Key responsibilities include: \- Coordinate daily workload and schedules with Service Advisors. \- Assign daily tasks to mechanics to optimize repairs. \- Supervise Work Orders and availability to improve productivity. \- Generate shortage reports and manage parts with Spare Parts department. \- Send vehicles to Quality Control and close Work Orders. \- Enter closures into the system and communicate delays to Service Advisors. \- Review and coordinate budgets with mechanics, entering them into the system. \- Coordinate sales notes to verify equipment. \- Schedule vehicle wash times aligned with delivery dates. \- Maintain inventory control and attend training sessions. Minimum Requirements: \- Degree in Automotive Mechanical Engineering or related field. \- Knowledge of workshop management. \- 3 years of experience in similar roles. \- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. \- \*Experience with trucks is desirable\* Benefits: \- Pleasant work environment. \- Cafeteria or food card, depending on branch. \- Complementary health insurance.
