Do you want to lead a dynamic business transforming global automotive distribution?
At Inchcape, we have an exciting strategy to develop our global business and drive our industry toward a low-emission, sustainable future.
Join **Inchcape Chile**, part of the global Inchcape company. You will play a key role in executing our strategy, delivering exceptional experiences to our customers, colleagues, and partners. You will drive the performance of a highly collaborative team composed of diverse and talented colleagues.
Our **Retail & Network** Management is seeking its next **Automotive Sales Manager**, who will be responsible for leading, organizing, and overseeing the commercial and functional management of the assigned branch—ensuring compliance with established protocols, operational control, expense management, and team development—to achieve business objectives and customer service standards.
**Your Responsibilities**
* Plan and monitor, through meetings and activities, the achievement of vehicle unit sales targets, credit sales, insurance, accessories, trade-ins, portfolio management (web, renewals, referrals), test drives, and post-sales scheduling.
* Ensure the branch’s proper presentation according to Retail & Network standards: general cleanliness, vehicle display in showrooms and for test drives, physical facilities, personal appearance of the sales team, correct implementation of campaigns, promotions, and customer information—acting as the “host” of the commercial area.
* Propose and manage optimal staffing for the branch based on needs, capacity, and targets; coordinating recruitment, onboarding, and training, as well as administrative matters (work shifts, vacations, contracts, addendums, leaves, remuneration, permits, etc.), and ultimately monitoring process compliance, use of work tools, and established commercial policies.
* Maximize the potential of all available tools to achieve commercial objectives—including Salesforce, financing platforms, renewal platforms, etc.—leading your teams to ensure correct usage and development, thereby meeting defined objectives on time and as planned.
* Achieve business profitability objectives (profit and loss statement) by managing branch revenue, discounts, and expenses via SAP–DBM visualization.
* Monitor and report branch vehicle inventory timely; ensuring proper care, optimal display, and minimizing inter-branch transfers.
* Guarantee customer satisfaction through delivered service and attention, paying attention to details and ensuring adherence to associated service protocols.
* Receive and resolve customer complaints, inquiries, and contingencies at the branch using available company resources and channels. Monitor the entire process and actively participate in resolution to provide accurate and timely responses to customers.
* Report competitive activity insights from the branch environment to the regional manager to enable timely and effective responses.
* Additionally, other duties necessary to fulfill the purpose of the role may be assigned.
**About You**
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* Degree in Commercial Engineering and/or Civil Engineering.
* Minimum 3–5 years’ experience leading commercial teams in the automotive sector, ideally at dealerships.
* Proven expertise in vehicle sales, financing, insurance, accessories, and achievement of commercial KPIs.
* Experience in branch administration, expense control, inventory management, and tracking profitability indicators.
* Proficiency with commercial CRMs, preferably Salesforce or similar platforms.
* SAP or dealer management system experience is desirable.
* Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel.
* Experience resolving complaints and commitment to customer service excellence.
* Valid Class B driver’s license.
* Willingness to work on-site and undertake visits or travel as required by the role.
