We are currently seeking a **PEXT O\&M Engineer**, to provide direct support to the client’s external plant engineers, actively participating in leading, coordinating, and executing all tasks within the scope of this role. What challenges await you? * Conducting site visits. * Supervising compliance with assigned procedures. * Supervising assigned ticket management—including status changes and submission of reports with observations to the executing unit—as well as tracking and monitoring the process until final ticket entry into inventories. * Network activation and supervision of large-scale CRA projects and capacity expansion initiatives. * Supervising receipt of ID (Engineering) documentation and all necessary information required for proper review. * Verifying information submitted by the Helpros ticket creator, reviewing drawings and documentation uploaded to the Helpros and Smallworld systems, and updating and documenting related changes. * Managing and supervising task generation for field personnel via Office Track tasks. * Creation, planning, and execution of Scheduled Works (TP). * Weekend readiness, TAD, and backup activities. * Daily follow-up on ongoing works, providing directives to field supervisors based on priority. * Performing operational monitoring and control activities, ensuring quality and compliance with procedures and safety standards. * Reviewing and monitoring management indicators and SLAs committed by the sub-management, reporting incidents, OTTs, OPRs, TP, and Helpros tickets to direct management. * Managing indicators to ensure compliance. * Managing creation of Helpros tickets and updating inventories when network infrastructure changes occur. * Entering reliable post-intervention network information into inventories. * Generating network acceptance reports—validation and/or rejection—and entering required information into corporate systems. * Ensuring delivery requirements and documentation quality standards are met for completed works (As-Built documents, Technical Reports, Tickets, etc.). * Verifying the client’s quality management systems, policies, current and future standards, and procedures. * Developing and reviewing procedures aligned with client requirements and guidelines. * Minimizing failures and vandalism through continuous network improvements. * Supporting cost review for assigned work teams. * Resolving OTTs and OPRs. What do we require from you? * Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Networking, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in operation and maintenance of external plant networks. * Experience with fiber optic networks, splicing, routes, infrastructure, and nodes. * Knowledge of telecommunications equipment associated with PEXT. Technical Knowledge * Fiber optic networks, ODN, FTTH, FTTN. * Reading of drawings and route maps, OTDR, OPM, link identification. * O\&M Management: preventive, corrective, emergency. * Telecommunications safety regulations. * Contractor management and field supervision. Additional Requirements * Valid driving courses. * Class B driver’s license. * Availability for fieldwork and travel. * Rotating shifts (morning/afternoon/night according to operational needs).
