La Coipa poured its first gold bar in March 2022 after resuming operations following suspension in 2013. Kinross is conducting an exploration program to potentially extend the mine’s life. The operation is powered 100% by non-conventional renewable energy to meet its power requirements. **Job Description** -------------------------- Develop, implement, and optimize management control, reporting, automation, and continuous improvement processes for the Procurement Management team, through process standardization, KPI generation, OPEX and CAPEX budgetary control, dashboard development, and cross-functional coordination across various Supply Chain areas, aiming to strengthen governance, operational efficiency, and achievement of the management’s strategic objectives. **Job Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Conduct progressive meetings with internal procurement teams to identify needs. * Develop BI dashboards. * Review current processes and propose and implement improvements aligned with national market best practices. * The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily exhaustive. * Support mapping of Procurement Management processes. * Conduct periodic follow-up on the Sourcing Plan. * Propose new metrics to other departments. * Document departmental procedures. * Automate internal controls via RPA or Macros. * Actively participate in meetings with various procurement teams to ensure accurate information gathering. * Assist in developing dashboards for the Procurement Management team. * Propose improvements according to standards. * Any other duties assigned by the Head of Department related to this position. **Education and Experience** --------------------------- * Professional degree in Industrial Engineering, Commercial Engineering, or a related field. * Postgraduate studies related to the position are desirable. * Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles. * Proficiency in Power BI and SQL. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Cross-functional expertise in the Supply Chain (Procurement, Inventory, Contracts, Warehouse, and Logistics).
