We seek an experienced, rigorous professional with technical leadership capability to join us as an **Assembly Welder**, serving as a fundamental pillar to ensure our metal structure and mechanical component fabrication projects meet the strictest quality and safety standards. **What Are We Looking For in You?** * **Education:** Completed secondary education. A Technical Diploma (Intermediate or Advanced Level) in Metal Construction, Industrial Mechanics, Structural Welding, or a related field is desirable. * **Experience:** 3–4 years of operational experience in workshops, metal fabrication shops, or industrial assembly sites, with demonstrable experience in assembling, layout, and welding complex structures. * **Technical Knowledge:** * Proficiency and/or certification in manual and semiautomatic welding processes (GMAW, SMAW, FCAW, GTAW) in various positions per AWS D1\.1 / ASME IX standards. * Proficiency in reading metal fabrication drawings, AWS welding symbols, and precision metrology (welding gauges, protractors, micrometers, calipers). * Competence in layout, leveling, oxy-cutting, plasma cutting, and safe operation of lifting equipment (overhead cranes, rotary arms, hoists). * **Quality and Safety:** Familiarity with self-inspection and traceability guidelines under ISO 9001, plus training in hot work, confined space, and specific PPE regulations. * **Soft Skills:** Technical leadership, high precision and attention to detail, quality/safety orientation, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn and teach. **Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:** * **Execution and Process:** Interpret technical drawings to perform layout, cutting, assembly, bracing, and welding of mechanical components and heavy structures. * **Quality and Traceability:** Conduct thorough dimensional inspections at each process stage (initial, in-process, final), completing and signing required quality protocols mandated by the QMS (ISO 9001\). * **Equipment and Lifting Operations:** Configure welding parameters per WPS and safely perform lifting and turning maneuvers of structures using overhead cranes and lifting equipment. * **Autonomous Maintenance and 5S:** Maintain welding equipment in optimal condition (cleaning, torch maintenance, consumable replacement) and uphold order and cleanliness in the workplace. * **Technical Leadership:** Guide and resolve technical questions from colleagues in the workshop, promoting self-care and continuous improvement within the team.
