Finning, a strategic partner of CATERPILLAR and leader in equipment distribution and services, is seeking top talent to fill the role of **Technician B – Contract for Chuquicamata Division Ministro Hales.** **Job Description Summary:** Responsible for diagnosing major components and systems, performing large-scale repairs, and coordinating work execution. Assists the supervisor and may make decisions of moderate responsibility. **Primary Job Responsibilities:** * Place spare parts orders. * Analyze written materials such as service manuals, parts manuals, and mechanical and maintenance forms. * Test and diagnose machine problems. * Prepare Service Reports. * Operate and inspect machines after repair. * Demonstrate proficiency in failure analysis. **Requirements:*** Graduated Technician or Professional from an Institute or University, specializing in automotive mechanics, electronics, or electricity. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance of mining-sector equipment. * Experience with underground mining equipment. * Willingness to work on a rotating 7x7 shift schedule (day and night). * Good health compatible with performance at high geographic altitude.
