




Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Assistant with expertise in hot kitchen, cold kitchen, pastry, and knife handling to supervise a station and support food preparation. Supervise the cold kitchen station and assist in food preparation. **We are hiring Kitchen Assistants for supermarket cafeterias!** If you have experience in **hot kitchen, cold kitchen, pastry, and knife handling**, and you are **responsible, organized, and flexible**, apply now and join our team! * **Net salary:** $512\.000 \-$521\.031 * **Schedule:** **6x1** rotation (Monday to Sunday, rotating shifts, with 2 legally mandated Sundays off). * **Shifts: (Availability required for AM, PM, and Night shifts)** * AM: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. * PM: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. * Night: 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. (Net pay of $8\.000 per night worked) **Requirements** * **Education:** Technical secondary-level qualification in gastronomy, higher technical diploma, job-related courses, or equivalent. * **Experience:** Minimum 6 months (preference given to institutional food service experience). * **Production capacity:** Between 100 and 200 portions. * **Ability to work under pressure.** **Knowledge:** Concepts such as blanching, technical culinary terminology, and cooking methods. * Basic culinary knowledge. * Types of cuts and proper use of cutting boards. * GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). * Preparation of side dishes, soups, and creams. ### **Responsibilities** * Supervise and take full responsibility for a station (Cold Kitchen). * Assist the head chef and chef de partie in preparing soups and side dishes. * Perform **mise en place**. * Prepare between 100 and 150 portions. * Perform minor supporting tasks. ### **Benefits** * Meal allowance at cafeteria. * Uniform. * Additional benefits and overtime pay.
