Ensure transparency in tendering processes **Location:** Andacollo, Coquimbo, Chile **Employment Type:** Regular full-time **Work Location:** On\-site About **Carmen de Andacollo** Carmen de Andacollo is an open-pit mine producing copper concentrate from the hypogene portion of the deposit. We hold a 90% stake in the mine. The National Mining Company (ENAMI) holds the remaining 10%. Most mine personnel reside in the town of Andacollo, adjacent to the mine, or in nearby cities of Coquimbo and La Serena. **Job Description** ------------------------- Closing Date: **August 13, 2026** Reporting to the Tendering Management Leader, the **Contract Analyst** will be responsible for implementing the defined tendering strategy by analyzing data, executing tendering and negotiation processes, and consistently promoting interdepartmental collaboration to optimize the supply process and generate and capture value in processes under their responsibility. Work location is at our Carmen de Andacollo operation, located in the Coquimbo Region, operating on a 4x3 shift system. Our operation does not have a camp, but transportation buses are available from Coquimbo and La Serena. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Be a courageous safety leader, comply with and champion safety and environmental rules and procedures. * Define competitive tendering strategies aimed at ensuring optimal technical and economic outcomes upon award. * Forecast annual service demand to update category management strategies under responsibility. * Ensure compliance with the services procurement procedure, guaranteeing transparency in service awards. * Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal customers and monitor adherence through management indicators. * Foster strategic and trust-based relationships with internal customers and contractors/suppliers to ensure a high service level for the organization. * Ensure transparency in tendering and award processes. * Issue reports on tendering process management as required. * Know and apply ISO 50\.001 standard in their area and the Energy and Climate Change Policy, contributing to achieving related objectives and targets aligned with their functions. * Contribute to implementing action plans established in the Energy Management System, define and communicate specifications to ensure optimal energy performance of acquired equipment and services. * Encourage and maintain a satisfying, safe, and stimulating work environment with genuine commitment to people’s safety, environmental protection, and energy efficiency, in accordance with the “Internal Regulations on Order, Hygiene, and Safety” and the “Code of Ethics and Conduct”. **Requirements** -------------- * Professional degree in Commercial Engineering, Industrial Civil Engineering, or related engineering field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in tendering processes within the mining industry. * Experience collaborating with user departments, procurement, finance, and suppliers. * Experience in contractual and administrative risk management. * Negotiation and effective communication skills. Strong stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution capability. * Financial knowledge. * Intermediate Office proficiency, especially Excel and PowerPoint. * Power BI proficiency. * SAP-type ERP system proficiency is desirable. * Basic knowledge of applicable legal and commercial regulations is desirable. * Valid Class B driver’s license. **About Teck** At Teck, we value diversity.
