Work in close coordination with various construction teams At Grupo de Empresas LN—a leading company in the development of infrastructure, building, and civil works projects in southern Chile—we are currently seeking a **Construction Technical Office Manager** to join our team on a significant civil works and road infrastructure project located in the commune of Puerto Montt. If you possess solid experience in technical-contractual control, passion for operational excellence, and seek to join an established holding company with high safety standards and professional development opportunities, **this opportunity is for you!** The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and manage the technical, economic, and documentation control of the project, ensuring compliance with contractual deadlines, budgetary monitoring, valuation of payment certificates, and technical coordination among site operations, construction administration, subcontractors, and technical inspection (ITO / Client). **Main Responsibilities** * **Budgetary and Cost Control:** Perform detailed tracking of physical and financial progress, productivity control, quantity take-offs, and deviation analysis against the project baseline. * **Payment Certificate (PC) Management:** Prepare, review, and timely submit monthly payment certificates to the client, as well as conduct technical approval of subcontractor and supplier payment certificates. * **Contractual and Documentation Control:** Manage the Construction Logbook, handle requests for information (RFIs/technical queries), process extra/additional works, and maintain up-to-date technical files and quality dossiers. * **Project Coordination:** Validate drawings, technical specifications (EETT), and calculation memoranda; coordinate modifications with designers; ensure timely issuance of As-Built drawings. * **Team Integration:** Collaborate closely with the Construction Administrator, Site Supervision Team, Management Control, and Occupational Health & Safety departments, promoting our corporate culture of Zero Accidents. Role Requirements. **Job Requirements:** * **Professional Education:** Professional degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Civil Construction. * **Mandatory Requirement:** A certified copy of the professional degree issued by the higher education institution must be attached for validation and technical accreditation with the client. * **Years Since Graduation:** Minimum of 5 years holding the professional degree (counted from the certified graduation date; an indispensable requirement for contractual accreditation). * **Work Experience:** Demonstrable experience leading technical offices on civil infrastructure projects, preferably road infrastructure projects (pavement, earthworks, structures, and urban developments). **Tools and Software:** * Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and expert-level reading of road/structural engineering plans. * Advanced proficiency in project scheduling and control tools (MS Project or similar). * Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (cost matrices, dynamic quantity take-offs, and budgets). * Familiarity with corporate ERP systems (e.g., SAP Business One) and digital management platforms is desirable. **Mandatory Application Note:** To validate your application, it is **mandatory to attach both your certified professional degree and certified work experience documents** corresponding to the projects listed in your CV.
