We want you to become our next **Nurse**, working on-site in **Antofagasta** on a part-time basis (20 hours per week), Monday through Friday.
The main objective of this position is to manage care related to health prevention, promotion, maintenance, and rehabilitation; prevent injuries among hospitalized patients in the Health Unit; implement actions derived from medical diagnosis and treatment; and ensure optimal use of assistance resources for patients.
Main Responsibilities:
* **Regulatory Compliance**: The Regional Ministry of Health (SEREMI) requires that the External Sample Collection Room have a licensed health professional as its technical responsible (a nursing technician is not acceptable). Key duties include ensuring protocol compliance, staff training, and proper management of adverse events.
* **Professional Support**: Acts as the technical counterpart before the health authority during inspections or requests related to health resolutions, and is responsible for meeting regulatory requirements.
* **Technical Direction and Health Responsibility**: Assumes technical leadership of the External Sample Collection Room (SETM), ensuring its operation complies with current regulations and supporting the functioning of a center with higher diagnostic and therapeutic capacity.
* **Quality and Safety of Care**: Supervises sample collection procedures, correct patient identification, handling of biological samples, and implementation of infection prevention and control measures.
Requirements to Be the Ideal Candidate:
* Willingness to travel to Santiago as required, or once every three months.
* Experience in mining operations.
Conditions:
* On-site position located in Antofagasta.
* In-person part-time schedule (20 hours per week), Monday to Friday (5 days on, 2 days off).
