**Role Overview**
We are looking for a **Mining Project Manager** to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large‑scale mining projects that integrate our advanced analytics and AI solutions. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder alignment.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with clients and internal analytics teams.
* Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and cost estimates; monitor progress using PM tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
* Lead cross‑functional teams—including geologists, engineers, data scientists, and software developers—to implement AI‑enabled mining solutions (predictive maintenance, ore‑grade modeling, resource optimization).
* Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and enforce health‑, safety‑, and environmental (HSE) standards.
* Maintain compliance with Chilean mining regulations, ESG requirements, and client contractual obligations.
* Manage stakeholder communication, prepare status reports, and present technical and financial updates to senior management and clients.
* Oversee procurement, contractor selection, and vendor relationships for equipment, sensors, and software services.
* Ensure quality control, conduct project audits, and drive continuous improvement through lessons‑learned sessions.
* Participate in on‑call rotations for critical project phases and emergency response.
**Required Qualifications**
* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
* **Experience:** 5–8 years of experience managing mining projects, with proven delivery of complex, technology‑driven initiatives.
* **Project** **Management** **Skills:** Strong knowledge of PM methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile) and certifications such as PMP or Prince2 highly desirable.
* **Technical** **Knowledge:** Familiarity with mining operations, geology, and an understanding of AI/analytics applications in mining (e.g., predictive modeling, sensor data integration).
* **Leadership:** Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, negotiate with stakeholders, and resolve conflicts.
* **Financial** **Acumen:** Experience budgeting, cost control, and ROI analysis for large capital projects.
* **Regulatory** **Insight:** Understanding of Chilean mining law, environmental regulations, and ESG reporting standards.
* **Communication:** Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English; ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
* **Problem‑Solving:** Strong analytical mindset; capacity to make data‑driven decisions under pressure.
