Job Summary: We are seeking an Environmental Engineer with experience in the Environmental Impact Assessment System (SEIA) to lead the preparation and processing of DIAs for Photovoltaic Solar Parks and manage PAS. We seek an Environmental Engineer Concepción, Chile | Hybrid Mode | International Company An international energy-sector company is seeking an Environmental Engineer with proven experience in the Environmental Impact Assessment System (SEIA) to lead the preparation and processing of Environmental Impact Declarations (DIAs) for Photovoltaic Solar Parks, along with comprehensive management of sectoral environmental permits (PAS). ________________________________________________________________ Requirements * Professional degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Environmental Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in SEIA, with approved DIAs (mandatory). * Demonstrable experience in photovoltaic solar energy projects (PMGD or utility-scale). * Up-to-date proficiency in Law 19.300 and Supreme Decree No. 40 (SEIA Regulation). * Experience in identification and management of PAS, including coordination with: * DGA * CONAF * Regional Ministry of Health (SEREMI de Salud) * Municipalities * SMA * Ability to lead environmental baseline studies, impact analysis, environmental mitigation measures, and responses to ICSARA observations. * Autonomy, technical judgment, and ability to interact with regulatory authorities. ________________________________________________________________ Responsibilities * Preparation and submission of Environmental Impact Declarations (DIAs). * Identification, justification, and management of Sectoral Environmental Permits (PAS). * Coordination with specialist consultants (flora, fauna, hydrology, soils). * Technical preparation and defense of responses to observations from the Environmental Assessment Service (SEA). * Development of environmental monitoring plans and voluntary environmental commitments. ________________________________________________________________ Conditions * Hybrid work mode (in-person in Concepción + remote). * Employment with an international company engaged in energy projects under development in Chile. * Project-based or term-based contract, duration to be determined according to candidate profile. * Potential for continuity in new projects.
