A well-known Holding with over 20 years of presence in the national market is seeking an Information Technology Engineer or related field graduate to fill the position of **UNIX Systems Administrator – Middleware.** **Objective:** * We are looking for a Linux Specialist with solid knowledge in administration, maintenance, and optimization of Linux operating systems, who also has a basic understanding of middleware. This role will focus on ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of Linux environments, as well as collaborating with technical teams to manage applications relying on middleware solutions. **Responsibilities:** * Administer, configure, and monitor Linux servers (SUSE, Red Hat, Ubuntu, or others). * Perform installation, updating, and migration tasks for operating systems and applications. * Ensure system security through the implementation of access policies and security patches. * Resolve incidents and issues related to Linux system performance or availability. * Provide technical support to other teams and conduct advanced diagnostics to identify root causes of problems. * Collaborate in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of basic middleware solutions such as Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, or WebLogic. * Document configurations, procedures, and technical policies related to Linux and middleware. **Exclusive Technical Requirements**: 1\.⁠ ⁠Linux Experience: * At least 3 years of experience in Linux system administration. * Knowledge of service management, Bash scripting, and monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, or others). * Familiarity with virtualized or cloud environments (VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP). 2\.⁠ ⁠Middleware Knowledge: * Basic experience with application servers or middleware. * Ability to install, configure, and perform basic tuning of middleware. * Basic knowledge of databases and how they integrate with middleware (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle). **Desirable:** * Knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). * Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Terraform. * Certifications in Linux (RHCSA, RHCE, LPIC\-1/2\) or middleware will be a plus. **Details:** * Type of Contract: Permanent * Mode: Hybrid, 3 days remote and 2 days in-office * Schedule: Monday to Friday from 08:45 to 18:30 hrs. **Benefits:** * Supplementary Health and Dental Insurance * Oncology Agreement (FALP) * Birthday Gift * Influenza Vaccine (April) * Bonuses in September and December
