Finning, Caterpillar’s strategic partner and a leader in equipment distribution and services, is seeking top talent to fill the role of **Senior Technician**. **Job Description Summary:** Will be responsible for evaluating and supervising various processes related to component repair, as well as timely provision of required information and resources to meet established programs, ensuring proper management of assigned resources per existing policies and achieving objectives set forth in CRC. **Main Job Responsibilities:** * Supervise and ensure compliance with each planned repair and/or evaluation process, ensuring work execution meets Finning Chile S.A. and Caterpillar standards. * Diagnose and evaluate equipment using Caterpillar technical and administrative software. * Analyze written materials such as service manuals, parts catalogs, and mechanical maintenance forms. * Ensure compliance with repair performance indicators and customer satisfaction metrics. * Prepare and draft Technical Reports. * Perform repairs on various component lines and provide repair recommendations. * Focus work toward loss management and control, while ensuring personnel safety and environmental protection. * Conduct tests, adjustments, and fault diagnostics in the workshop. * Analyze requirements for equipment and workshop tool refurbishment and repair. * Supervise and actively participate in activities related to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) management, ensuring compliance with the Risk Prevention Policy and Sustainable Management Policy. **Requirements:** * Graduated Technical Professional from an Institute or University, majoring in Automotive Mechanics, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering; or a Bachelor of Engineering. * Minimum **5 to 7 years’ experience in mining equipment maintenance**. * Ability to work under a rotating **7x7 day-and-night shift system**. * Physical and mental health compatible with job requirements.
