It is considered the main global reference in quality and integrity, with more than 95,000 employees and a network of over 2,400 offices and laboratories worldwide. **Job Description** * Apply SGS-specific instructions and procedures appropriately for carrying out activities. * Perform metrological confirmation activities when applicable. * Follow the activities specified in the Operational Procedures and structural elements of the management system. * Adhere to operational risk control measures indicated by supervision and/or operational procedures. * Perform weight control tasks, physicochemical tests, review, verification, checking and attestation as required. * Work as a team and provide mutual support. * Take and prepare samples at designated points according to stipulations in operational procedures. * Ensure the care, preservation and integrity of samples taken and/or processed. * Immediately report to the chain of command any conditions and/or actions affecting safety and/or quality standards. * Responsible for following quality, safety and environmental protection standards. * Safeguard and ensure proper maintenance of files, records, instructions and operational documents in good condition and readily available. * Protect sample integrity, ensuring traceability and clear, orderly and complete recording of activities in designated documents. The Operator has the authority to suspend service execution if minimum acceptable conditions are not met regarding product integrity, weather conditions, safety and/or environmental conditions. **Requirements** * Residence in Antofagasta * Technical or Higher Technical studies in Metallurgy * Willingness to work rotating shifts 5x2, 4x4 or possibly 7x7 * Willingness to work for a base salary of $510,500.- with an approximate net salary of $600,000 * Ideally experienced in Mechanical Mineral Processing or Metallurgical Laboratory (not mandatory) * Ideally experienced in Concentrator Plants (not mandatory) **Additional Information** Benefits: * Breakfast * Lunch * Commute transportation to residential area (round trip) * Birth and Christmas gifts for employees' children * Life insurance from day one of joining the organization * Special leave permissions * Benefits from Caja los Andes and associated agreements
