The role's mission is to receive contaminated materials arriving from surgery through the receiving area, verify that they match the attached documentation, subject them to the appropriate washing process according to established protocols, and subsequently deliver them to Quality Control. **Responsibilities:** Perform washing and disinfection of surgical instruments to ensure they are in optimal condition for preparation, delivery, and use in surgeries across various operating rooms. Inspect and verify instrument completeness both upon entry into and exit from the washing area; if missing items are identified, register them in coordination with the receiving team. Ensure correct traceability of instrument trays. Assemble surgical instrument trays after washing for transfer to Quality Control. Ensure proper closure of documents within the system. Maintain order and cleanliness at the workstation, materials, and warehouse. Ensure proper use of work materials and personal protective equipment (PPE). Actively participate in periodic and selective inventories as determined by the company.
