Job Summary: We are seeking a Power-focused Service Technician to execute and fulfill activities per purchase orders, maintain equipment, and uphold safety standards. Key Highlights: 1. Support in preparation of technical proposals and identification of opportunities. **Service Technician – Power \| Calama \| 5x2 Work Schedule** ------------------------------------------------------------ We are looking for a Power-focused Service Technician to join our team in Calama on a 5x2 work schedule. If you reside in Calama or have availability to relocate, we invite you to review the requirements and apply for this position. **What you’ll do:** ------------------- **Position Summary** The Service Technician’s primary responsibility is to utilize assigned resources to execute and fulfill committed activities per the client’s Purchase Order. **Position Responsibilities** Execute services as specified in the Purchase Order (PO), technical specifications, and in compliance with EATON regulations and standards. Ensure all EATON-provided equipment and tools are maintained in good working condition. Use and maintain all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) under your responsibility in optimal condition. Perform electrical tests following EATON safety standards. Generate technical, safety, and administrative documentation required for service delivery. Prepare, track, and report expenses, man-hours (HH), service records, reports, and protocols for service closure and billing. Report HH data, absorption, and expense reimbursements incurred during field service execution. Support the commercial team of EESS in preparing technical proposals by contributing technical scope definitions and identifying opportunities. Maintain test equipment (e.g., Megohmmeter, Ductor, Hipot Tester, Micrometer, etc.) **Qualifications:** ------------------- **Required Education Level** Technical or university degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering. **Years and Area of Required Experience** Minimum 2 years of experience as a Service Technician. Ability to work at high altitude. Availability to work in **Calama on a 5x2 schedule**. Availability to work 80% of time in the field. **Technical Knowledge** Experience interpreting electrical schematics. Microsoft Office. Electrical safety. **Desirable** Experience with AutoCAD. Intermediate English proficiency for manual interpretation (reading and writing). Class B driver’s license with over 1 year of validity.
