Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and creative Recreation and Events Coordinator to plan and implement entertainment and wellbeing activities at a mining site. Key Responsibilities: 1. Create entertainment and wellbeing experiences for workers. 2. Plan, coordinate, and execute recreational activities and events. 3. Operate audiovisual and musical equipment. At Sodexo Chile, we are looking for a dynamic, creative, and energetic individual to join our team as a Recreation and Events Coordinator, with the goal of creating entertainment and wellbeing experiences for workers at the Antofagasta mining site. Our objective is to generate a positive impact on society and contribute to the wellbeing of our employees, clients, and the communities where we operate.· Responsibilities You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing recreational activities and events at the Pub and other leisure areas of the mining site, promoting worker participation and ensuring proper operation of audiovisual and musical equipment. Organize and execute recreational activities, contests, trivia games, karaoke, and themed events. Develop the weekly activity programming schedule. On-site animation and promotion toward the client and EECC at the mining site. Operate and safeguard sound systems, microphones, displays, and projectors. Ensure compliance with safety and service standards established by Sodexo and the client. Requirements Completed secondary education. Technical training in Tourism, Hospitality, Recreation, Events, or related fields is desirable. At least 1 year of experience in animation, recreation, hospitality, tourism, or event production. Basic knowledge of audiovisual and musical equipment. Availability to work rotating shifts at a mining site. Health compatible with working at high geographical altitude.
