Job Summary: We are seeking a Quality Advisor for mining operations, responsible for ensuring food safety, educating teams, and implementing corrective actions. Key Highlights: 1. Implement operational quality systems and programs **Location:** Antofagasta (mine site) **Shift:** 10x10 **Contract Type:** Fixed-term contract **Transportation:** Ground transportation **Department:** Quality / Food Safety We seek a **Quality Advisor** to join our mining operation, ensuring compliance with sanitary standards, current regulations, and the client’s management systems. The role’s purpose is to **guarantee food safety, train teams, and execute corrective actions** to maintain a safe and excellent service. **Main Responsibilities** * Conduct sanitary inspections and manage corrective action plans. * Provide technical advisory support to administrators, supervisors, and operational teams. * Ensure compliance with sanitary regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and standards required by the mining client. * Train staff on food safety, hygiene, and procedures. * Coordinate internal audits and support obtaining/maintaining sanitary permits. * Implement operational quality systems and programs. **Role Requirements** * **Degree:** Food Engineering, Quality Technician, or related field. * **Experience:** Minimum **3 years in food service within mining operations** (mandatory for Escondida). * Knowledge of **HACCP, GMP, ISO 9001**, and sanitary legislation. * Medical fitness compatible with the position and availability for mine-site shifts. * Desirable experience in training and audits. ### **Conditions** * **10x10** shift in Antofagasta. * Ground transportation provided. * Temporary replacement for 3–4 months (possible extension based on need and performance). * Field and office-based work
