We seek a **Quality Advisor** to join our mining operation, ensuring compliance with sanitary standards, current regulations, and the client’s management systems. The role’s purpose is to **guarantee food safety, train teams, and execute corrective actions** to maintain a safe and excellent service.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Conduct sanitary inspections and manage corrective action plans.
* Provide technical advisory support to administrators, supervisors, and operational teams.
* Ensure compliance with sanitary regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and standards required by the mining client.
* Train staff on food safety, hygiene, and procedures.
* Coordinate internal audits and support obtaining/maintaining sanitary permits.
* Implement operational quality systems and programs.
**Role Requirements**
* **Degree:** Food Engineering, Quality Technician, or related field.
* **Experience:** Minimum **3 years in food service within mining operations** (mandatory for Escondida).
* Knowledge of **HACCP, GMP, ISO 9001**, and sanitary legislation.
* Medical fitness compatible with the position and availability for mine-site shifts.
* Desirable experience in training and audits.
