This role is pivotal in strategic planning and execution of the production process, leading multidisciplinary teams to guarantee achievement of the company’s production, commercial, and operational goals. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead and supervise the entire processing plant operation, ensuring operational continuity and adherence to production schedules. * Plan and coordinate the production schedule based on demand, harvest plans, and operational capacity. * Monitor and optimize resource utilization (raw materials, inputs, personnel, and costs), ensuring efficiency and profitability. * Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and applicable regulatory standards (e.g., IFS, BRC, HACCP, ASC, GLOBALG.A.P.). * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, quality, and costs, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. * Guarantee full product traceability throughout the entire production process. * Supervise proper product classification, processing, and preservation according to defined standards. * Lead, develop, and evaluate work teams (mid-level supervisors, team leaders, and operators), fostering a culture of high performance and safety. * Manage plant staffing, participating in recruitment, selection, and definition of job profiles. * Coordinate daily operational meetings and ensure effective cross-departmental communication. * Control the departmental budget, tracking costs per production line and proposing optimization measures. * Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and occupational safety regulations. * Utilize management systems and software for productive data analysis and decision-making. * Promote continuous improvement initiatives in production processes, quality, and operational efficiency. **Technical Knowledge** * Seafood processing and manufacturing (especially salmon). * Food cold-chain preservation systems. * Fish biology and health. * Regulatory standards: IFS, BRC, ASC, GLOBALG.A.P. * HACCP systems and Quality Assurance Programs (QAP). * Management indicator (KPI) handling and data analysis tools. * Production management and continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma preferred). **Core Competencies** * Strategic leadership and team management. * Results orientation and operational efficiency. * Data-driven decision making. * Planning and organization. * Analytical ability. * Effective communication and collaborative teamwork. * Adaptability and problem-solving skills. * Focus on quality and food safety ### **Job Requirements** Job Requirements • Professional degree in Industrial Civil Engineering, Food Engineering, Aquaculture Engineering, Fisheries Engineering, or related field. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervisory or leadership roles within salmon processing plants. • Solid experience in production operations management, cost control, and team administration. • Advanced knowledge of quality and food safety regulations applicable to the salmon industry. ### **Benefits**
