Job Summary: EQUANS Chile is seeking an HSEQ Risk Prevention Advisor to oversee HSEQ activities and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: 1. Control and ensure HSEQ compliance in operations. 2. Lead and advise on a proactive safety culture. 3. Application and auditing of Fatality Control Standards. **EQUANS Chile (EQCL)** is seeking an **HSEQ RISK PREVENTION ADVISOR**, responsible for overseeing activities related to Safety, Occupational Health, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) within operational areas, ensuring such activities are carried out in accordance with defined policies and procedures. **We invite all qualified candidates meeting the following requirements to apply:** **Profession / Education:** * Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention Engineering **Knowledge:** * Advanced knowledge of Codelco’s Special Regulation on Occupational Safety and Health * Application and auditing of Fatality Control Standards (FCS). This includes management of Critical Risks and their associated controls * Up-to-date knowledge of MINSAL surveillance protocols applicable to mining (e.g., Silica, Prexor, TMERT, etc.) **Experience:** * Minimum 2 years of experience performing occupational risk prevention functions at mining sites **Requirements:** * Availability for 7X3 shift schedule * Valid Class B driver’s license (desirable) * Preventive Leadership: Ability to advise and lead frontline supervision and Joint Committees, fostering a visible and proactive safety leadership culture * Soft Skills: Active listening, empathy, negotiation, and conflict management Diversity strengthens us.
