Position Summary: Supervises and manages teams to ensure efficiency and safety of blasting operations, in compliance with the client's contract. Key Responsibilities: 1. Efficiently and safely manage people and teams. 2. Organize and direct blasting operations. 3. Ensure proper functioning of the team and development of its members. **Job Description** ---------------------- We invite you to join our team to help fulfill our purpose of Humanizing Mining. In the role of Blasting Supervisor, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely managing people and teams to meet the contractual obligations established with the client. Your main day-to-day responsibilities include: * Organize and direct operations: plan daily work for assigned personnel, provide operational instructions, verify correct detonator programming and/or tying, confirm availability of resources for operations, or request them timely. * Verify correct detonator programming and/or tying. * Inspect blasting before and after execution. * Ensure proper functioning of the team and development of its members. * Supervise that personnel have and properly use necessary equipment and tools to perform tasks. * Conduct field inspections for blasting feasibility and safety analysis. * Coordinate blasting activities with the client and provide process reports. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mining Engineering. * Experience in blasting processes in underground mining operations. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in blasting.
