Finning, a strategic partner of CATERPILLAR and a leader in equipment distribution and services, is seeking top talent with experience in maintenance of CAT\-PH electric shovels to join operations located in Calama in the role of **A Technician** **Job Description Summary:** Will be responsible for diagnosing major components and systems, as well as performing large-scale repairs, coordinating work execution. Assists the supervisor and may make decisions with moderate responsibility. **Key Responsibilities:** * Order spare parts and identify key components of shovels and drills. * Analyze written materials such as service manuals, parts manuals, and mechanical and maintenance forms. * Test and diagnose machine issues. * Prepare Service Reports. * Operate and inspect machines after repair. * Demonstrate proficiency in failure analysis. **Requirements:*** Graduate technician or professional from an institute or university, specializing in automotive mechanics, electronics, or electricity. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance of mining industry equipment. * Work on a rotating 7x7 shift schedule (day and night). * Possess health compatible with performance at high geographic altitude. * Hold SEC certification. * Preferably reside in Calama.
