Receive guidance and support (especially from a technical perspective) and know when to request it. Prepare, review, and validate calculation memoranda for critical mechanical systems and components. Understand industry codes and standards, as well as design criteria relevant to the specific engineering discipline. Provide technical direction and assign work to subordinate personnel such as engineers, designers, drafters, technicians, and others assisting in the execution of specific tasks. Plan, schedule, execute, and coordinate engineering design tasks, including complex features such as conflict resolution within project design and challenging coordination requirements. Plan and/or develop discipline-specific activities and deliverables (technical specifications, data sheets, reports, etc.). Recommend changes to activities, deliverables, and engineering processes as per procedure. Define and recommend design methods, specifications, and performance or functional requirements for the Project. About You Civil Mechanical Engineer With 8–15 years of proven work experience in mining and industrial projects, either with engineering consulting firms or construction companies. Proven experience using Smart Plant 3D and AutoCAD 2D and 3D software. Experience in mining projects involving detailed engineering, EPCM or EPC projects, with emphasis on copper concentrator plants. Willingness to mobilize to site. Intermediate English language proficiency.
