




Position Summary: SIGMA S.A. is seeking a Quality Manager to supervise and maintain the quality control system for mining projects in Los Andes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead quality management in mining projects 2. Ensure compliance with quality procedures 3. Coordinate training sessions and internal audits **SIGMA S.A.**, an integrated services company for mining and engineering that provides solutions focused on construction, commissioning, and maintenance, is currently seeking personnel for one of our projects located in the Andes (Andina Contract) for the position of **Quality Manager**. **Main Responsibilities:** * Ensure adequate and sufficient personnel and necessary instruments are available to guarantee correct implementation of its procedures. * Supervise the Quality Control System according to service requirements, bearing responsibility for results achieved in work performed by this system. * Maintain controlled copies of SGI documents available at the project site. * Input documents and maintain them in the document management system. * Update the project's Quality Plan in accordance with client requirements, enabling issuance of the approved version for implementation. * Support the contract administrator in implementing the project's Quality Plan. * Coordinate quality-related training for personnel assigned to the project. * Raise awareness among all project personnel regarding the importance of complying with the SGI, providing support in developing procedures and work instructions. * Code SGI documents according to client procedures. * Conduct internal and certification audits at the project site. * Manage Non-Conformities, Corrective Actions, and Preventive Actions associated with project activities. * Attend client meetings on quality-related matters. * Assist in collecting statistical information for the SGI. **Requirements:** * Civil Engineering, Civil Construction, or related engineering degree. * Certified Lead Quality Auditor training. * Postgraduate studies or Diploma in Quality Management Systems (desirable). * Minimum 8 years of experience in mining operations, including at least 5 years in mining projects and at least 3 years as a Quality Manager in mining projects. * Familiarity with the Project Construction Quality Control Information System (SIC3PRO) and current ISO 9001 standard. * Residence near the project area (desirable). * Contract start date: September 1st.
