Santiago, Chile \| Full time \| Hybrid \| R1560204 **Role Overview** Provides technical leadership and contributes to the design, development, and implementation of data solutions for projects focused on *service delivery*, *managed services*, or client implementations. Assignments require advanced analysis, resolution of complex problems, and the ability to design technical solutions that fulfill IQVIA’s delivery and service commitments to its clients. Actively participates in defining processes, continuous improvement, and evolution of data solutions, contributing to achieving quality and customer satisfaction goals. **Essential Functions** * Analyzes and understands clients’ functional and technical requirements, proposing data solutions aligned with business needs. * Designs, develops, and maintains data integration, transformation, and validation processes. * Develops complex SQL queries and optimizes database performance to support analytical and operational processes. * Designs and develops data models enabling efficient information utilization. * Develops analytical solutions and automations using Python for data processing and analysis. * Designs and maintains executive dashboards and KPIs using Power BI. * Participates in defining and evolving project data architectures, promoting best practices in development, documentation, and data quality. * Conducts quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify improvement opportunities and propose data-driven solutions. * Develops technical and functional documentation for implemented processes. * Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams during implementation and support of client solutions. * Provides technical support to other team members, promoting knowledge transfer and best practices. * Develops deep expertise in IQVIA’s services, consulting methodologies, and the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and life sciences industries, as well as IQVIA’s technology solutions. **Requirements / Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computing Engineering, Information and Management Control Engineering, or a related field (required). * 4–6 years of professional experience in data analysis, data engineering, business intelligence, or similar roles (required). * Proven experience developing analytical and data solutions for internal or external clients. * Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve common objectives. * Ability to analyze complex problems, identify improvement opportunities, and propose scalable solutions. * Understanding of business processes and awareness of cross-functional interactions within an organization. * Knowledge of development methodologies and best practices for data and analytics projects. * Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. **Technical Knowledge (Required)** * Advanced proficiency in SQL Server, including development and optimization of complex queries, stored procedures, views, and data modeling. * Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and analysis. * Experience developing dashboards and data models using Power BI. * Experience working with large volumes of data while ensuring data quality and integrity. **Desirable Knowledge** * Experience in data architecture. * Experience in ETL processes. * Applied statistics knowledge. * Predictive modeling knowledge.
