The primary **purpose of this position** is to administer, support, and operate ARAUCO’s various security systems; manage the companies providing different levels of support; and design regional-level security and network systems. **Main Responsibilities:** * Execute implementation of specific security and network area projects, performing project management tasks with external vendors to ensure timely and successful completion. * Assess and control all information security projects, from definition through production operation. * Participate in and provide technical assistance for evaluating alternative technological solution designs. * Support leadership and management of communications and security area projects. Additionally, interact with leaders or heads of other departments to deliver technical support. * Carry out all actions aimed at preventing/mitigating information security risks, including: * Security reviews of networks, operating systems, databases, applications, websites, or others. * Identification and/or definition of security controls aligned with emerging threats and vulnerabilities, monitoring compliance and assessing their effectiveness and efficiency. * Research into new threats and participation in resolving information security issues. * Conduct risk analyses of information assets, identifying security gaps. * Propose and recommend preventive actions to detect and correct potential deviations in the field of IT security. * Support development of user awareness campaigns. * Manage security requirements and/or incidents, ensuring timely response and resolution. * Monitor and support daily issues arising in Networks and Security. * Prepare reports for management. **Requirements:** * Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology Engineering, Communications Engineering, or related field (Mandatory). * Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Security and Network management (Mandatory). * Certifications or specialization in IT Security (Desirable). * CISSP, ITIL, NIST, or similar certification (Desirable). * ISO 27001/2 (Implementer) or similar certification (Desirable).
