In this opportunity, we are looking for a Laboratory Technician who will play a key role in rubber quality control, participating in the execution of tests and verification of material properties throughout the production process. We seek a detail-oriented, precision- and safety-focused individual who wishes to join a technical team operating at high quality standards. **Location: Renca, Región Metropolitana** **About the Challenge** * You will be responsible for verifying rubber properties and quality across various stages—from raw materials to finished products. * You will prepare specimens for conducting various laboratory tests. * You will perform physical, thermal, rheological, and chemical tests to evaluate material behavior. * You will verify that test results comply with internal standards and international regulations. * You will support monitoring of the vulcanization process to ensure its proper execution. * You will carry out basic maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. * You will collaborate with the R\+D department on continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization. **What We Expect From You** * Technical education in Chemistry, Polymers, Materials, or a related field. * Experience in rubber, polymer, or materials laboratories (ideally 2 years or more). * Knowledge of testing regulations and standards such as ASTM and ISO. * Proficiency with laboratory equipment including rheometer, Mooney viscometer, Shore A/D durometer, FTIR, TGA, among others. * Ability to record and analyze test results, prepare technical reports, and support quality audit processes. * Strong commitment to safety and good laboratory practices. **What We Offer You** * Join a company with high technical standards and a strong focus on process quality. * Work with specialized equipment and actively participate in improvement and innovation processes. * Be part of an established technical team with opportunities for learning and professional development.
