In the **Line 7 Project**, acts as a **preventive control point**, minimizing non-conformances and enabling **work package release** through objective evidence (records, protocols, tests, and inspections). ### **Key Responsibilities** * **Implement and verify** the **Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan**, maintaining objective evidence and auditable records. * **Supervise execution** in accordance with **specifications, drawings, procedures, and acceptance criteria**, coordinating with Production and Engineering to prevent deviations and rework. * **Manage the end-to-end Non-Conformance (NCR) cycle**: detection, registration, containment, root cause analysis, CAPA, and closure with effectiveness verification. * **Ensure traceability** of critical materials and processes (receipt, certificates, tests, protocols, releases) with strict document control. * **Coordinate testing** with internal or external laboratories/equipment, ensuring frequency, acceptance criteria, and archiving of results. * **Prepare and support internal/external audits** (document availability, compliance with system requirements). * **Report quality indicators** (NCR trends, release progress, subcontractor performance, recurring findings) and propose improvements. ### **Main Functions** * Conduct **systematic field inspections**, collecting evidence (checklists, photos, records) and issuing clear observations. * Administer **document control** (current versions, coding, archiving, traceability of approvals). * Prepare **daily/weekly/monthly reports** and coordination minutes to support decision-making. * Coordinate **training/orientation sessions** on procedures, acceptance criteria, and use of records. * Ensure compliance with contractual and client requirements, maintaining a technically **collaborative yet firm relationship** with production and subcontractors. * Participate in planning/lookahead activities, contributing a preventive perspective to anticipate quality risks. ### **Departmental Focus (Quality & Environment)** * Align quality control with corporate **IMS guidelines** and contractual requirements. * Coordinate with **Environment** to maintain consistency in records, permits, and operational controls. * Integrate quality requirements into site procedures and promote a process-based approach and continuous improvement. * Prepare **documentary packages/dossiers** for milestones (releases, deliverables to client/ITO, supporting documentation). * Manage **lessons learned** and standardization (recurring findings, improvements, updates to formats/procedures). ### **Specific Role Functions (QA/QC on Site)** * Supervise **critical work packages** (concrete pours, reinforcement, waterproofing, technical finishes, prefabricated elements if applicable), validating criteria prior to release. * Control **material receipt**, ensuring traceability by batch/sector (certificates, delivery notes, technical data sheets, inspection, sampling). * Administer and update the **ITP/PIT** (Inspection & Test Plan), including **Hold/Witness points**, and coordinate with ITO/client. * Issue and manage **NCRs/observations**, leading closures with verifiable corrective actions and effectiveness follow-up. * Coordinate/review **test protocols, inspection reports, and dossiers** for audits and deliveries. * Support management during audits/system reviews by presenting evidence and compliance status. **Exclusive Requirements** -------------------------- **Education:** * Degree: **Civil Constructor / Construction Engineer / Civil Engineer (Civil Works or related field)**. **Certification:** * **40-hour Quality Assurance Course validated by MOP**. * (Desirable) ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification or applied knowledge of its principles. **Experience:** * Minimum **3 years of verifiable experience** as a Quality Supervisor or equivalent QA/QC role on construction sites (ideally infrastructure/high-complexity projects: railway, tunnels, civil works). **Tools / Computer Skills:** * **MS Office** (Intermediate Excel) for reporting and tracking. * Document management (e.g., **SharePoint**) with version/coding control. * Reading of drawings/technical documents (Advanced PDF; AutoCAD reader desirable). **Technical Competencies:** * Proficiency in QA/QC: inspections, acceptance criteria, traceability, release. * Robust NCR and CAPA management (root cause, containment, effectiveness). * Handling of ITP/PIT and coordination with client/ITO/laboratories. * Preparation of dossiers/protocols and audit readiness. **Seize the challenge.
