With 46 industrial units, we supply global customers with healthy, high-quality products through our 23 distribution centers and 18 international offices. **Responsibilities and attributions** **Job Responsibilities and Functions** ------------------------------------------- As **Quality Manager**, you will be responsible for leading Minerva Foods’ food quality and safety strategy in Chile, ensuring compliance with the highest operational, regulatory, and customer service standards. ### **What will be your key responsibilities?** * Lead Quality, Customer Service, and outsourced production (toll manufacturing) monitoring teams; * Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and product technical specification standards; * Manage complaints, non-conformities, and corrective and preventive action plans; * Monitor performance indicators related to quality, customer satisfaction, and service level; * Act as the primary technical reference for strategic customers, leading discussions on protocols, technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and incident resolution; * Actively participate in defining, reviewing, and updating operational and quality protocols with customers and internal departments; * Provide technical support to the commercial team on matters related to quality, food safety, and product specifications; * Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, loss reduction, and enhancement of customer experience; * Manage the department’s budget and control costs associated with returns, rework, and non-conformities; * Maintain effective relationships with regulatory bodies, certification agencies, and external audits. ### **What experience are we looking for?** * We seek candidates with experience in logistics operations, distribution centers, or warehouses, ideally within food or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies. Experience in inventory control, dispatch, and logistics coordination is valued. * Experience leading Quality, Food Safety, Quality Assurance, or Customer Service departments; * Experience in food industry, agribusiness, animal proteins, FMCG, or related sectors; * Experience managing multidisciplinary teams; * Experience handling complaints, audits, certifications, and sanitary regulations; * Experience in technical engagement with strategic customers; * Experience in outsourced production (toll manufacturing), cold chain, and refrigerated logistics will be highly valued. **Requirements and qualifications** **Academic background:** * Food Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, Industrial Engineering, Agronomy, Business Administration, or related fields. **Desirable:** * Specialization or complementary studies in Quality Management, Food Safety, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related areas. **Technical knowledge:** * Quality and Food Safety Management Systems; * Chilean and international sanitary regulations; * Outsourced production (toll manufacturing) management; * Receiving, storage, and distribution processes; * Customer Service management and complaint handling; * Performance indicators (KPIs); * Continuous improvement tools; * Knowledge of cold chain and refrigerated logistics; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office. **Additional information** * Location: Chile. * Work modality: On-site. * Employment contract governed by Chilean labor law. * Corporate benefits aligned with market standards (meal allowances or others per local policy).
