Job Summary: A chemistry-trained professional to perform tasks in the area of quality management systems, in technical roles related to evaluation and quality assurance. Key Highlights: 1. Conducts inspections to verify compliance with work instructions and records. **ALS**, the world leader in testing, the **Geochemistry Division** provides exceptional assurance of sample preparation and analytical solutions to the exploration and mining community, offering a broad range of testing and analytical services across end markets and industries worldwide, with a global presence in over 90 countries, is seeking a **Quality Analyst**. **About the Position:** A chemistry-trained professional to perform tasks in the area of quality management systems, both in technical roles related to evaluation and quality assurance of testing processes, and in planning, information management, and follow-up for continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities and Functions:** The Quality Analyst is responsible for contributing to the control, monitoring, and evaluation of quality improvement processes. **Functions include but are not limited to:** * Monitoring, reviewing, and controlling the quality system. * Optimally tracking maintenance programs for critical laboratory equipment, as well as controlling the instrument inventory list. * Keeping all local quality records, procedures, and instructions up to date, and communicating any changes made to them. Managing and controlling the document portal. * Preparing letters or investigation reports for clients. * Conducting inspections of laboratory areas to verify that work is performed in accordance with work instructions and that quality records are properly used. * Coordinating and participating in quality and BRP meetings. * Controlling and tracking incidents, as well as ensuring implementation of actions arising from internal incident investigations and customer complaints. * Identifying deviations in processes and/or quality controls (trends, biases, etc.) and taking corrective measures. Compliance with KQIs. * Identifying quality-related risks across all processes. * Ensuring and monitoring compliance with the internal training program. * Conducting regional vertical audits according to the annual schedule. * Participating in regional quality meetings. * Coordinating external calibrations of critical laboratory equipment. * Delivering quality induction sessions to new staff and presenting the associated quality policy. * Complying with local, regional, and global quality system requirements. **Position Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field. * 1–2 years of experience in laboratories serving the mining sector. * Demonstrable experience using the Webview system, minimum one year at analyst level. * Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and laboratory quality management systems. **Benefits:** * Supplementary health insurance * Commuter bus service available * Secure storage for personal belongings and bicycle parking facilities * The company is affiliated with a workplace safety mutual * The company is affiliated with a compensation fund Apply with us—we look forward to welcoming you!
