Coordination of tenders and technical-economic evaluation At Altimec, we seek a Project Engineer focused on Instrumentation and Control to manage and execute projects at power plants located in San José de Maipo. **This role targets professionals with early project experience, on-site leadership ability, and strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders.** **Location** Cordillera Power Plants, San José de Maipo, Metropolitan Region **Work Schedule** 5x2, Monday to Friday (42 hours per week). **Contract Type** Fixed-term contract for 2 months, followed by an indefinite-term contract. **What will you do in this role?** * Manage a portfolio of projects related to the Instrumentation and Control discipline. * Prepare project minutes, schedules, technical specifications, and supporting documentation. * Coordinate tender processes and conduct technical-economic evaluations of bids. * Plan projects assigned, both technically and financially. * Identify, mitigate, and control risks during execution. * Interact with contractors, internal stakeholders, and field teams. * Ensure compliance with safety standards, financial controls, and reporting requirements. * Conduct technical inspections of works and provide on-site support as required. Requirements: **Profile We Seek** * Degree in Electrical Civil Engineering, with specialization or knowledge in industrial process control * 2–3 years of experience in project management and execution. * Knowledge of communications and instrumentation; familiarity with SCADA and PLC systems is desirable. * Ability to lead project progress, coordinate contractors, and operate autonomously. * Residence in Santiago or realistic feasibility of relocation to San José de Maipo and its power plants. **Additional Assets** * Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Project. * Intermediate-level proficiency in SAP RPC module. * Additional training, diplomas, or experience in project management. * Basic-to-intermediate English proficiency. * Leadership skills, teamwork, autonomy, responsibility, and self-directed learning ability. * Class B driver’s license and ability to travel to work sites.
