Position Summary: United Pipeline Systems is seeking a Planning and Control Engineer to oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Key Highlights: 1. Manages projects using control methodologies and tools. 2. Develops and updates schedules in Oracle Primavera P6. 3. Monitors project progress and develops recovery plans. **JOIN OUR TEAM!** At **United Pipeline Systems, Inc.**, we are a strategic partner specializing in delivering solutions to pipeline integrity challenges through high-performance thermoplastic systems for the oil, gas, industrial, municipal, and mining sectors. We are currently seeking a **Planning and Control Engineer** for a major mining project located in the Antofagasta region. **Terms:** * Contract: Fixed-term. * Shift: 14x14\. * Location: Centinela Mining Project. **Objective:** To plan, supervise, and control project execution, ensuring compliance with established timelines, budgets, and scope, by applying project management methodologies and tools that enable efficient execution aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives. **Responsibilities:** * Develop, update, and maintain schedules in Oracle Primavera P6, including critical path analysis, float analysis, and rescheduling based on actual progress and approved changes. * Coordinate and facilitate Collaborative Planning sessions with multidisciplinary teams, documenting agreements and project commitments. * Maintain departmental planning cycles: Master Plan \- Lookahead 3\-6 weeks \- Weekly Work Plan (WWP) \- Daily Follow-up (POD). * Monitor project progress, measure PPC (Percent Plan Complete) weekly, and identify Causes of Non-Compliance (CNC) with improvement actions. * Analyze deviations in schedule, progress, and cost, and develop recovery plans with corrective actions for significant deviations. * Identify, record, and track constraints impeding activity progress. * Maintain a comprehensive change request log, analyze impacts on schedule and budget, and track approvals. * Complete and manage the Planning and Control (P&C) archive, incorporating templates, records, and SGI annexes with documentary evidence. **Requirements:** * Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Civil Construction * Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6/Cloud * Knowledge of Lean Construction and Last Planner System (LPS) methodologies * Advanced Excel If you are seeking an exciting challenge and possess the skills and experience we require, we invite you to apply.
