Key role in residential building projects and civil development projects. **Position:** Project Engineer **Location:** Pucón, La Araucanía Region **Schedule:** Full-time **Work Mode:** On-site **Required Experience:** Minimum 1 year in similar roles (verifiable) **MISSION:** This role is tasked with planning, executing, directing, and controlling construction projects—from basic infrastructure to buildings—by managing resources, teams, and regulatory compliance to ensure quality, technical and economic viability. **CONTEXT:** The position serves as a quantity surveyor and construction planner for residential building projects and civil development projects. **2\. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTED OUTCOMES:** **\- Planning and Design:** Develop plans, take-offs, and budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. **\- Construction Management or Budget Control:** Lead and coordinate technical teams, materials, and human resources on-site, ensuring technical and budgetary adherence. **\- Quality Control:** Analyze and ensure technical outcomes and verify regulatory and legal compliance. **\- Risk Management and Project Development Aligned with the Board’s Commercial Interests:** Technically assess and channel Board requests to provide technical and economic feasibility, and identify and resolve technical contingencies and unforeseen events. **\- Project Coordination and Construction Execution:** Serve as the technical counterpart to the Board, consultants, suppliers, and external agencies. **\- Project Closure and Delivery (Customer Satisfaction):** Manage delivery, documentation, and contractual compliance from a technical perspective, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. **\- Project Control and Management:** Ensure project implementation complies with budget (PPTO), Gantt schedule, and quality standards, with an integrated business and profitability perspective. **3\. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:** **\- Construction Engineering, Civil Construction, Civil Engineering:** Professional degree required (mandatory)\*. \- **Strong technical knowledge in construction and engineering public relations:** Advanced level (mandatory)\*. **\- Proficiency in management and design software (AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.):** Advanced level. \- **Leadership, planning, coordination, organization, and team management for construction projects:** Advanced level. \- **Relevant experience:** Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience in this role, including project development, planning, technical calculations, and quality control.
