Wood is seeking a Document Controller responsible for collecting, distributing, retaining, and archiving documents through document management systems and work processes to join its Process & Chemicals business unit in Concepción, Chile.

**The Role**
Will ensure all technical documentation associated with the assigned project scope is registered, archived, transmitted, and archived in accordance with document management procedures.

* Coordinate documentation requirements among company staff, contractors, and the client. Ensure document files are properly maintained. Maintain logs of letters and documents.
* Oversee printing and photocopying operations, including staff and machine activities.
* Assign appropriate file indexing to all incoming and outgoing documents.
* Ensure all controlled documents are accurate and complete.
* Comply with company standards and work procedures.
* Conduct audits and inspections on the project to ensure document control activities are performed correctly, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
* Perform additional tasks as instructed by the supervisor.
* Process vendor information for internal and contractor use.
* Copy, scan, and save documents.
* Verify accuracy of documents, such as contracts, and correct them.
* Review and update documents (e.g., manuals and workflows).
* Distribute project-related copies to internal teams and contractors.
* Archive documents in physical and digital records.
* Manage documentation flow within the project, both internally and with contractors.
* Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information and agreed terms.
