**Senior Infrastructure Architect – Linux, Virtualization, and Web Services** At PS Grupo Hunting, we are supporting a client in hiring a Senior Infrastructure Architect with robust experience in Linux platforms and operation of critical services. This role joins a team maintaining large-scale technology environments, focused on stability, standardization, and operational continuity. **Work Modality and Availability** * 100% on-site work * Participation in after-hours shifts and incident response as required **About the Role** We seek a senior-level professional with expertise in both traditional and modern infrastructure, capable of contributing to technical operations, documentation discipline, and process improvement. The candidate will actively participate in standardization, documentation, knowledge transfer, and support for first- and second-line teams. **Requirements** * Relevant professional degree (e.g., Computer Engineering, Electronics, Networks, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent; minimum 8 semesters). * 5+ years administering Linux/Unix and VMware platforms. * Demonstrable experience in: * Linux administration (Red Hat / RHEL). * Web services and middleware: Apache, Tomcat, JBoss. * DNS/BIND. * Reverse proxies, load balancing, and SSL/TLS certificate management. * Presentation-layer design and capacity planning. * Database integration: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL. * Containers (Docker) and exposure to public cloud. * Unix: Solaris (highly valued) and AIX (desirable). * Experience in high-demand environments with a large number of presentation-layer servers (reference: approximately 1,000 servers) is valued. **Preferred Certifications** * RHCSA / RHCE. * Virtualization or cloud: VCP-DCV, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Administrator Associate (or equivalent). * Security: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+. **Key Responsibilities** * Operate and administer Red Hat servers in critical environments. * Install, configure, and monitor Apache, Tomcat, and DNS services. * Automate tasks via scripting. * Ensure compliance with security policies and controls. * Participate in initiatives to modernize and evolve the architecture. * Support critical systems in coordination with development, operations, and security teams. **Competencies** Responsibility, analytical ability, holistic infrastructure vision, and service-quality orientation.
