Provides specialized Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) support to project and construction teams, ensuring implementation of effective programs that eliminate risks potentially causing property damage, injuries, illnesses, or environmental impacts. Reports operationally to the HSE Manager on all HSE-related matters. This role is typically assigned to medium- to large-scale projects. **Key Responsibilities:** * Experience developing and strengthening safety cultures, promoting sustainable behavioral change and high HSE performance standards. * Ability to design, implement, and optimize systems, processes, and procedures required for managing mega-projects involving multiple stakeholders, including clients, regulatory authorities, corporate teams, and contractors. * Strong knowledge of applicable national and international legislation related to health, safety, and environment. * Ability to lead complex incident and accident investigations, applying industry-recognized causal analysis methodologies per industry standards. * Experience designing and implementing programs focused on psychological well-being, mental health, and compliance with psychosocial risk protocols. * Advanced expertise in critical control management, fatality prevention, and major risk management, aligned with industry best practices. * Orientation toward innovation and continuous improvement, identifying and implementing methodologies and technologies that optimize processes and enhance organizational performance. **What Will You Bring?** **Software, Processes, and Tools:** * Minimum 20 years of experience in construction mega-projects within industries such as mining, oil \& gas, infrastructure, or other sectors of equivalent complexity. * Proven experience leading at least two or three high-impact investment mega-projects within the industry. * Experience managing the full project lifecycle, including feasibility, engineering, construction, commissioning, and start-up. * Demonstrated track record leading HSE teams across multiple geographies and operational environments simultaneously. * Sernageomin Certification A or B, held for at least 10 years. * Valid registration as an Expert Professional with the Sanitary Authority, or equivalent postgraduate qualification related to HSE. * Advanced proficiency in English, equivalent to CEFR Level B2 or higher. **Conditions:** * Location: Calama * Shift: 8x6 or 4x3 (To be determined) If you require any **accessibility accommodations**, please be sure to specify them in your application. **Advancing Together** We are committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace where everyone feels they belong, can speak up, and will be heard.
