Their mission includes fundamental analysis, credit and market risk management, and effective communication with clients, committees, and internal stakeholders. In this role, your main responsibilities will include: **Strategy and Portfolio Construction** In this role, the Senior Portfolio Manager will be responsible for designing and executing the investment strategy in local bonds, defining tactical and strategic positions according to the analysis of the macroeconomic and market environment. This includes selecting instruments, adjusting portfolio structure based on emerging opportunities and risks, and monitoring performance against the benchmark to ensure decisions are aligned with portfolio objectives. **Credit and Issuer Analysis** The role requires conducting in-depth analysis of corporate, financial, and sovereign issuers, assessing their solvency, economic fundamentals, and associated risks. This involves participating in due diligence processes, meetings with issuers, rating agencies, and market participants to gather key information, as well as identifying emerging factors that could impact credit risk or market conditions. **Risk and Performance Management** The Portfolio Manager must continuously monitor portfolio risks using specialized metrics and advanced analytical platforms. They will be responsible for conducting scenario analyses and stress tests to evaluate portfolio resilience, identify significant deviations from the benchmark, and propose adjustments to maintain an appropriate balance between return and risk. **Communication and Representation** This role involves presenting strategies, analyses, and results in various internal committees, as well as delivering market insights and performance updates to institutional clients. The following requirements represent the essential knowledge, skills, and competencies for this position: **Professional Experience** * Between 5 and 10 years of proven experience in the local fixed income market. * Started career as a credit analyst or financial analyst, progressing into trader or portfolio manager roles in asset management firms, insurance companies, or pension fund administrators (AFP). * Demonstrable experience in fundamental issuer analysis, portfolio construction, and credit risk management. **Education** **•** Commercial Engineer, Industrial Civil Engineer, Economist, or related field. **Languages** * Intermediate to advanced English. **Technical Skills (Hard Skills)** **•** Analytical ability and credit judgment. * Technical rigor, independent judgment, and focus on risk control. * Technical leadership and ability to articulate visions in collegiate environments. * Strong communication and executive synthesis skills. * Professional ethics and fiduciary duty. * CFA Level 1 or higher certification desirable. **Interpersonal Skills (Soft Skills)** * Client and results orientation. * High relational and communication capacity. * Proactivity and strategic thinking. **❤️ WE VALUE YOUR IMPACT** Your contribution matters, and we recognize it.
