Contributes general and technical knowledge to provide first- and second-level support as well as troubleshooting services (repairs, installations, maintenance of all property-related systems) across multiple units. Typically works under supervision and well-defined guidelines to complete a series of routine tasks. Responsible for performing repairs, installations, and maintenance of property-related technologies. Possesses knowledge of technological equipment/processes and Marriott-owned technologies. Responsible for complying with Marriott’s established guidelines in ISM (Information Systems Management) and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
Complies with all company safety policies and procedures, and reports accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to management. Maintains confidentiality of company-owned information; protects company assets. Addresses guest needs; assists other employees. Communicates with others using clear and professional language; answers telephones using appropriate etiquette. Serves as an exemplary role model and the first point of contact for the Fair Treatment Guarantee/Open Door Policy process. Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others and supports the team to achieve common goals. Adheres to quality expectations and standards; identifies, recommends, develops, and implements new methods to increase organizational effectiveness, productivity, quality, safety, and savings. May move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds (22.5 kg) unassisted. May stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Enters and locates information using computers or point-of-sale (POS) systems. May climb stairs/ramps. Performs other reasonable job-related duties as requested by supervisors.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary diploma or related work experience.
Related Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: Supervisory experience is not required.
