At Novo Mei Kitchen and Cafe, we focus on delivering friendly service and a positive experience for our customers. We are looking for a Restaurant Cashier to join our team in Linares, Maule. This is an entry-level opportunity for a responsible, organized, friendly individual with an interest in developing customer service and payment handling skills. **Why Work With Us** **The Environment:** Our restaurant is located in a central area of Linares, offering a convenient workplace in an active commercial zone. **Training:** We provide on-the-job training on point-of-sale systems, payment procedures, customer service, and restaurant operations. **Teamwork:** You will work alongside experienced staff in a collaborative and supportive environment. **Development:** You will have opportunities to further develop skills in customer service, food service, cash handling, and restaurant operations. **Key Responsibilities** **Customer Service:** Greet customers, answer basic questions, and deliver friendly service. **Cash Handling:** Accurately process cash, card, and other authorized payment methods. **Order Processing:** Correctly register customer orders in the point-of-sale system. **Receipt Management:** Issue receipts and verify transaction details. **Cash Area:** Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready cashier area. **Team Support:** Assist colleagues during peak hours and contribute to the restaurant’s daily smooth operation. **What We’re Looking For** **Experience:** 0–1 year of experience in cashiering, retail, hospitality, restaurants, or customer service. Prior experience is advantageous but not required. **Education:** Completed secondary education or equivalent preferred. **Customer Service:** Friendly attitude and ability to communicate effectively with customers. **Numerical Skills:** Ability to perform basic calculations and handle payments accurately. **Technology:** Willingness to learn point-of-sale systems. **Languages:** Spanish required. Basic English is advantageous but not mandatory. **Attitude:** Responsible, punctual, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to work well in a team. Salary: $500\.000 \- $700\.000 per month Work Location: On-site employment
