We seek someone capable of making critical technical decisions, leading complex projects, and supporting the rest of the team in designing and evolving robust systems. We are especially interested in positioning this role as central to strengthening our technical capabilities and evolving our software development approach. As you progress in this role, you will have the opportunity to take on technical leadership responsibilities—whether as a technology vertical reference, by leading teams, or by defining cross-cutting standards in collaboration with other company areas. **Job Responsibilities** * Lead the design of complex software components, proposing scalable and sustainable technical solutions. * Negotiate and define work plans with project managers, stakeholders, and technical teams. * Review and validate the technical work of other engineers, providing rigorous and formative feedback. * Make informed decisions about technologies to adopt and development processes to follow. * Participate in architecture discussions, documentation of standards, and stack evolution. * Serve as a reference for engineering practices: testing, quality, security, documentation, CI/CD, observability, among others. * You will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer. **What we’re looking for** * At least 2 years of professional experience developing production systems. * Demonstrated ability to design and maintain complex, scalable, and maintainable software. * In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in **front-end** development (ideally with React), **back-end** development (ideally with Python and Django), relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL), and containers (**Docker**). * Experience in cloud environments (ideally AWS) and collaborative work with DevOps teams.
