Additionally, they are the first point of contact for covering teacher absences across all cycles and subject areas, following instructions from the School Principal and/or respective Cycle Director. ISP Subject Teacher CPV Agustinas Key Responsibilities Cover classes in case of teacher absence, across all cycles and subject areas, as determined by the Cycle Director and Academic Area. Classroom teaching or systematic lessons, defined as direct, continuous, and systematic personal instruction delivered by the teacher within the educational process. Maintain up-to-date class registers, tutoring records, workshop logs, and other official documentation. Attend Faculty Councils and pedagogical, cultural, or other meetings related to the position. Participate in technical team meetings aimed at reviewing, evaluating, and proposing improvements to processes and working methods. Attend final examinations and perform complementary duties inherent to the position, particularly those mandated by the Ministry of Education. Prepare for and attend parent-teacher meetings, held at least four times per year (if applicable to substitution assignments). Collaborate with Supervision and Formative activities for the entire school. Assume logistical coordination and follow-up for workshops or similar responsibilities, when requested by the relevant administrator. Evaluate students’ progress and achievement in the educational process and report on the development of substitute lessons both to the absent teachers and to the relevant administrators. Ensure students remain in the classroom during scheduled lesson hours. Supervise and accompany students, maintaining order and discipline continuously during the start and end of the school day, lessons, transitions between periods, recesses, lunchtime, and educational field trips, among others. Skills, Qualifications and Experience Qualification: Professional Teaching Degree (State Teacher) or Early Childhood Educator Degree. English Proficiency: Advanced English proficiency. Experience for External Applicants: One year of teaching experience. Knowledge and Skills: Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency.
