Drive Big Data, advanced analytics, and AI initiatives. **Job Description** We are seeking a Director of Data Engineering and Big Data to lead the strategy, architecture, and operation of data platforms, driving scalable solutions that support analytics, artificial intelligence, and business decision-making. **Responsibilities** * Define and execute the **Data Engineering and Big Data** strategy. * Lead data engineering, platform, and analytics teams. * Design scalable, secure, and highly available data architectures. * Oversee **ETL/ELT** pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud platforms. * Establish standards for data quality, governance, security, and management. * Drive **Big Data, advanced analytics, and AI** initiatives. * Manage roadmap, budget, vendors, and technology priorities. * Coordinate with Technology, Product, AI, Security, and Business units. * Define and monitor KPIs for data performance, quality, and availability. * Promote automation, innovation, and engineering best practices. **Requirements** * Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field. * Proven experience with **Python, SQL, Spark, and Big Data architectures**. * Experience with **Data Lake, Data Warehouse, ETL/ELT, and cloud platforms**. * Knowledge of **AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud**, and distributed processing technologies. * Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and orchestration tools. * Knowledge of data governance, quality, security, and privacy. * Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic management skills.
