**About the Role**
San Bernardo is one of the main industrial and logistics hubs in the Metropolitan Region, with a high concentration of distribution centers, warehouses, transportation companies, and last-mile operations.
We seek a **Logistics Operations Manager** responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities.
The selected candidate will lead operational teams and work directly with planning, procurement, inventory, transportation, and customer service departments. Their primary objective will be to ensure products are received, stored, and dispatched safely, efficiently, and within agreed timelines.
This role extends beyond daily operational supervision. The Logistics Operations Manager must analyze KPIs, control costs, resolve operational issues, and implement improvements to increase productivity and service quality.
We seek a candidate with experience managing high-demand logistics operations, the ability to make decisions under pressure, and a practical, results-oriented mindset.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily distribution center operations.
* Lead receiving, storage, order picking, dispatch, and transportation processes.
* Organize operational team shifts, roles, and workloads.
* Ensure on-time delivery schedules and agreed service levels are met.
* Supervise performance of operators, supervisors, drivers, and logistics providers.
* Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate product placement.
* Coordinate cyclic, physical, and stock reconciliation inventories.
* Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
* Monitor operational productivity, accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
* Define and track key logistics performance indicators (KPIs).
* Analyze order picking times, storage capacity, and resource utilization.
* Optimize routes, distribution processes, and vehicle usage.
* Coordinate activities with carriers, suppliers, and external operators.
* Control costs associated with transportation, storage, personnel, and materials.
* Identify inefficiencies and develop continuous improvement initiatives.
* Manage operational incidents, delays, returns, and distribution-related claims.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, risk prevention, and facility maintenance standards.
* Supervise proper use of equipment, machinery, and supporting logistics systems.
* Maintain up-to-date information in ERP, WMS, or logistics management platforms.
* Prepare operational reports, performance analyses, and presentations for management.
* Participate in demand planning, procurement, and operational capacity planning.
* Coordinate contingency plans for peak demand periods or service disruptions.
* Train, guide, and evaluate team members.
* Promote a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
**Requirements**
* Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, warehousing, or operations.
* Prior experience leading operational teams in distribution centers, warehouses, or transportation companies.
* Knowledge of receiving, inventory, picking, packing, dispatch, and distribution processes.
* Experience in shift, resource, and workload planning.
* Ability to monitor productivity, quality, and on-time performance indicators.
* Knowledge of inventory management and stock control methodologies.
* Experience coordinating carriers, suppliers, and logistics providers.
* Ability to analyze costs, timelines, and service levels.
* Proficiency with ERP, WMS, or logistics management tools.
* Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Experience preparing operational reports and analyzing operational data.
* Knowledge of safety regulations, risk prevention, and warehouse procedures.
* Ability to resolve operational issues and make timely decisions.
* Professional degree in Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
* Experience in e-commerce or last-mile operations (preferred).

Salary: $2\.300 \- $2\.500 per month
