Optimizes routes and processes to reduce costs and delivery times The Logistics Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing operations related to transportation, warehousing, distribution, and inventory management, ensuring that products and materials reach their destination efficiently and on time. Key Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate logistics and distribution operations. Manage freight transportation and coordinate with suppliers and carriers. Supervise inventory levels and ensure product and material availability. Coordinate receiving, warehousing, order picking, and dispatch activities. Optimize routes and processes to reduce costs and delivery times. Monitor orders and track deliveries. Analyze logistics performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports. Manage documentation related to shipments, transportation, and inventory. Identify operational issues and develop solutions to improve processes. Coordinate with procurement, production, sales, and warehouse departments. Negotiate and maintain relationships with suppliers and transportation companies. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and internal procedural standards. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Trade, or a related field. Prior experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or supply chain management. Knowledge of inventory management and logistics planning. Proficiency in ERP systems and logistics management tools. Familiarity with data analysis and report generation. Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills. Ability to negotiate and collaborate with suppliers and carriers. Results-oriented with attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet established deadlines.
