About the Role **Adjiad Technology and Commercial Group** is looking for a **Senior Accountant** to join our team in **Iquique, Tarapacá Region**. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and executing key accounting processes, ensuring accurate preparation of financial information, and supporting the company's tax and administrative compliance. You will collaborate closely with **finance, treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, operations, procurement, and administration** to maintain accurate accounting records, timely closings, and reliable reports for decision-making. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with solid experience in **general accounting, monthly closings, reconciliations, financial analysis, and tax compliance**, who are organized, analytical, and capable of handling sensitive information with high precision. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and review accounting entries, journal entries, and supporting documentation. * Execute and supervise monthly and annual accounting closing processes. * Prepare bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations. * Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity. * Prepare balance sheet and income statement analyses. * Record provisions, amortizations, depreciation, and other accounting adjustments. * Support preparation of financial statements and management reports. * Review tax documentation and support tax compliance processes. * Coordinate with treasury to ensure correct classification of payments and financial transactions. * Supervise proper accounting of invoices, credit notes, and tax documents. * Analyze accounting discrepancies and manage their resolution. * Maintain up-to-date financial documentation backups and files. * Support internal and external audits. * Prepare information required by management and other business areas. * Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed. * Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls. * Support implementation and enhancement of ERP systems or financial tools. * Perform other related accounting and financial duties. Requirements * **4–6 years of experience** in general accounting, auditing, finance, or related fields. * Prior experience as a **Senior Accountant, General Accountant, Senior Accounting Analyst, Senior Accountant**, or similar role. * Professional degree in **Auditing Accountant, Public Accountant and Auditor, Financial Engineering**, or a related field. * Solid knowledge of financial accounting and closing processes. * Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** and Microsoft Office. * Experience using **SAP, Oracle, Softland, Microsoft Dynamics, Defontana**, or other ERP or accounting systems is preferred. * Knowledge of reconciliations, provisions, fixed assets, and account analysis. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * High attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. * Strong communication and collaborative teamwork skills. * Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly. Desirable Qualifications * Experience in **commerce, services, technology, operations, logistics, mining, or related industries**. * Familiarity with Chilean tax regulations. * Experience with electronic tax declarations and documentation. * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. * Experience preparing financial statements and management reports. * Knowledge of IFRS is preferred. * Experience with external and internal audits. * Understanding of internal controls and financial processes. * Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting. * Intermediate English proficiency is considered a plus.
