Finning, CATERPILLAR’s strategic partner and leader in equipment and service distribution, is searching for top talent to fulfill the role of **Inventory Analyst for Antofagasta**. The Inventory Analyst engages with and collaborates across various CLA departments (CDR Operations, VAS, Service Center, PLN, CMC). Their responsibility is to safeguard inventory accuracy to respond promptly and efficiently to spare parts and component order requirements, while meeting CLA objectives. This position reports to the CLA Quality Control and Inventory Control Manager. The primary challenge of this role is: Achieving zero inventory discrepancy and delivering 100% of customer orders. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Safety:** Promote a prevention-oriented culture by complying with Safety and Environmental standards and ensuring strict adherence to the Rules for Life. * **Inspection and Orderliness:** Conduct audits in warehousing areas to ensure orderliness and compliance with "Five-Star" standards, guaranteeing correct process execution. * **Quality Control:** Verify spare parts integrity through random checks at unloading, deconsolidation, storage, picking, and dispatch stages. * **Inventory Management:** Execute cyclic inventories, analyze variances via root cause determination, and propose action plans for continuous improvement. * **Strategic Reporting:** Generate accurate and reliable reports on Logistics Center operations, providing data-driven recommendations to support managerial decision-making. * **Conflict Resolution:** Timely manage and resolve Non-Conformities issued by our customers to ensure their satisfaction. * **Service Optimization:** Increase stock reliability and mitigate operational exceptions to elevate service levels. * **Operational Continuity:** Guarantee spare parts availability to prevent inventory discrepancies that impact delivery, thereby minimizing customer equipment downtime. **Application Requirements:** * Professional degree in Engineering or Technical field, with understanding and knowledge of spare parts management, logistics, and Distribution Center operations. * Ideally 1\-3 years of experience in logistics. * Advanced proficiency in computer tools, specifically Microsoft Excel. * Knowledge of SAP EWM. * Understanding of risk prevention and environmental care variables. * Residence in Antofagasta (Mandatory).
