Apply here to start an extraordinary career today.** At AES, we are seeking a Field Operator **Role Description:** Carries out field work, activities, and operational rounds in coordination with the Control Room Operator and Shift Supervisor to ensure the availability and reliability of equipment related to the electrical power generation and storage process, adhering to the Company's standards and best practices (Safety, Environment, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001, ISO 55001). **Responsibilities:** * Executes field operations for various generating units, equipment, systems, and subsystems involved in the power generation process at Cordillera Power Plants. * Performs disconnection and removal from service of generating units and electrical energy storage equipment, systems, and subsystems involved in the power generation process at Cordillera Power Plants. * Complies with the inspection program for operational parameters and monitoring. * Complies with the Integrated GENERA System program (Safety, Environment, and Asset Management). * Participates in routine, minor, and major maintenance of units. * Trains new operators by providing on-site instruction, explaining processes and equipment, and verifying comprehension levels. **Requirements:** * Graduated Electric, Mechanical, Electronics, Chemistry, or Control/Instrumentation Technician, either from an industrial school or higher education level. * Valid driver's license with at least 4 years of experience. * Availability to work rotating shifts. * Ability to perform physical work at heights and in confined spaces. * Solid technical knowledge in their area of training. * Teamwork skills and strong interpersonal abilities. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. * Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques. * SAP PM knowledge is desirable. * Familiarity with AES safety standards, AES environmental standard, and ISO 14.001, ISO 55001, ISO 45001. **This position is also open to people with disabilities, in accordance with Labor Inclusion Law No. 21.015** **We improve the lives of more than 10+ million people through the safe and reliable delivery of energy.
